Turiya Orme

Turiya Orme has been exhibiting fine glass art since 1999. These shows have been all over Australia, from the Kirra Galleries in Fed Square in Melbourne to the Raglan Gallery in Sydney; from Australian National University to the Central Goldfields Art Gallery in Maryborough. She has also worked in a number of glass blowing studios around the country, and attended a number of international symposia on glass art and design. In 2002 she was awarded the prestigious Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant, and her work has appeared in a number of publications featuring glass art and artists in the field. Herons Gallery hold many fine pieces by Turiya - well worth a visit.
