Rachel Tonkin

Rachel Tonkin is one of Australia's most respected illustrators having illustrated over 150 children's books. She has won a number of awards for this work including: Children's Book Council of Australia honour prize; Wilderness Society Environment Awards; and was short listed for the Multicultural Awards for the Book "Brigid was Bored". Her superb sculptural work has also won great praise and can be seen at Herons.
