Peter Hills

Peter Hills was born in Murwillumbah, a town near the coast in northern NSW. When he moved inland he was struck by the new landscapes and began to experiment artistically with what he was observing. He works primarily in oils and occasionally acrylics using different tools and painting mediums as the work dictates. In 1982 he received his Diploma of Fine Arts (Painting and Photography) from the Bendigo College of Advanced Education, and in 2001 his Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from LaTrobe University, Bendigo. Peter has exhibited continuously in high-profile regional exhibitions, both solo and group, since 1982.
