Jan Lancaster

Jan Lancaster was born in Bega, NSW. She attained two scholarships to the National Art School in Sydney where she studied with Passmore, Coburn, Gleghorn and Hinder. Jan received her Diploma of Education from Sydney University and then travelled extensively throughout Asia and Europe. She now lives in Castlemaine, Victoria. Her work is represented in Government House, Canberra; Brisbane C.A.E.; Federal Government Gift Collection; ‘The Kyneton Collection’, Kyneton; Lady Cowan’s Collection and other private collections in Australia, Japan, UK, New Zealand, USA, Switzerland, Canada and Mexico. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions.
