Dick Turner

Dick Turner was born in South Africa. He studied painting under Vasco Viero in 1967 and in 1970 won a design scholarship to the UK to study textile design. In 1975 he was awarded the A.T.I. (Design) de Montford University Leicester UK, the same year he arrived in Australia. Dick decided to call South Gippsland home in 1980 and soon was studying etching under Manni Redlich. In 2001 he received his BVA (Painting) from LaTrobe University. He has been exhibiting continuously in high-profile regional exhibitions, both solo and group, since 1993.
